I can not find an answer real authority in this regard.
I think the annual reports of many of those who responded in herpes forums where the disease is, the risk of herpes or sexually transmitted in this situation very well - but can not find any institutional source (such as herpes CDC or charities) that this situation addresses. I am very curious to see if someone sends a link to a better source of medical advice column.
I suspect that the probability is extremely low. The herpes virus dies quickly outside the human body. Spa Trainer literally had to be extended for two people at once and the other person must have an active herpes outbreak, so it is still possible.
I suspect they are much more likely that some non-bacterial STD infection or skin rash, if at all.
Or I ask for the spa technician to be more careful, otherwise I would choose another location. I also keep my eyes from the strange rash - but I would not worry about sexually transmitted diseases or shingles.
